I am an Ohio licensed real estate agent (Realtor) since 2001.
I am an Ohio Licensed Insurance Agent (Series 11-35 & 11-36) since 2002. The series 11-35 license is issued to agents involved in Life & Health insurance and Variable Annuity products. Series 11-36 Ohio Insurance license is for the property/casualty lines of business.
I have held my NASD Securities License (Series 6 & 63) since 2003. You will find that most registered representatives hold either the Series 6 or Series 7 securities license and then most of the people that hold either of those licenses also hold the series 63 license. In addition to being a fully licensed Insurance Agent, I have underwritten property/casualty insurance for a Fortune 500 company. I have earned the following professional designations with respect to my work in the insurance industry. In the past I have served as the Secretary, Treasurer, then finally as the President of my homeowner association.
I have experience in writing business plans and filing articles of incorporation - I am one of the founding partners of a real estate investment company, AG Properties LLC and I am currently the sole owner and founder of another real estate venture called Northern Pine Properties Inc.
I am a contributing author and blogger on the CinVenture website, a place for local area (Cincinnati, Ohio) entrepreneurs to share ideas & strategies and to network.
I have been a landlord and experienced the eviction and collection process, which I hope to not revisit anytime in the near future (the eternal optimist in me would have said NEVER AGAIN! but in this world the realist in me says hopefully it will only be later rather than sooner).
More recently, instead of rental property, I have turned my attention to aquiring land for the purpose of development - namely the construction of energy efficient (dare I say “green”?!) single family homes.

Ah, yes, the part of me that you probably don’t want or care to hear about if you’re visiting my website to read about financial topics. Well, just so you don’t think I spend all day hammering out blogs, running regressions on Microsoft Excel, or reading any one of my countless boring financial textbooks… here goes…
I am a single, 27 year-old guy living in the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio. I enjoy playing poker and blackjack. Golf is my sport of choice these days, although I played basketball at one point in my not-so-distant past. I enjoy watching college sports, especially March Madness for hoops and my alma mater’s hockey games whenever I can attend live events. I have a long-haired Dachshund (”wiener”) dog named Garbanzo. Enough about me… I’m sure you will hear more about my adventures in entrepreneurship, real estate, and investing as I write and post more!
